Could Stevie Wonder’s Superstition Make You Better at Real Estate?
Confidence starts in the body, and Superstition might be the secret ingredient to boost your performance.
This week, I listened to a conversation between Eric Zimmer and science journalist Caroline Williams on The One You Feed podcast. Williams, author of Move: How the New Science of Body Movement Can Set Your Mind Free, explores how movement benefits physical health and fundamentally shapes mental and emotional states.
Our brains are in constant communication with our bodies. Movement sends signals through the nervous system, influencing brain chemistry and emotional responses. Williams highlights that engaging in physical activity can alter our brain's environment, affecting how we think and feel.
Caroline Williams says one song stands above the rest when it comes to shaking you out of a slump and shifting your entire state of mind.
Superstition by Stevie Wonder.
She calls it the best song for getting your body and brain in sync. Why? Because it hits exactly 120 beats per minute.
That number matters. When you move to 120 bpm, walking, dancing, or even just tapping, you activate a rhythm your body naturally recognizes. It’s the frequency at which your steps match your active heartbeat, blood flow to the brain increases, and your nervous system begins to regulate. You feel more present, more focused, and more ready.
Williams explains that the brain evolved to help us move. Movement sends signals through the body that affect chemistry, mood, and mental clarity. In this light, confidence is not just a mindset. It’s a physiological state you can step into.
Try it: Put on Superstition, walk to the beat, move your arms, and let your shoulders shift. Then notice what has changed.
Three ways to tap into this rhythm in daily life:
Walk at 120 bpm
A brisk pace that aligns with natural heart rate and boosts brain functionDance to music with this tempo
Syncing movement with rhythm reduces stress and increases emotional connectionStrengthen posture and core engagement
Good posture quiets the stress response and signals safety to the brain
Confidence starts below the neck. Let your body lead, and your mind will follow. Confidence isn't solely a mental construct; it's a physical state that can be cultivated through intentional movement.
Whether you're preparing for a client meeting or navigating daily challenges, engaging your body can prime your mind for success.
If you haven’t listened to Superstition for a while, here it is!
REAL ESTATE NEWS

ChatGPT vs. C.A.R. Hotline Attorneys
The California Association of REALTORS® recently tested ChatGPT on three routine legal questions. The results are a clear reminder that AI needs the right data to be useful and safe.
In a May 2025 Realegal® report, C.A.R. shared how ChatGPT performed and how its answers compared to their legal team’s guidance.

1. Disclosure Requirements in “As-Is” Sales
ChatGPT listed several disclosures but missed key requirements like the agent’s visual inspection and the lead-based paint booklet.
Grade: D
2. Referral Fees to Mortgage Brokers
The response incorrectly claimed referral fees are generally illegal. It overlooked RESPA exceptions and the California licensing structure.
Grade: F
3. Seller’s Right to Cancel a Purchase Agreement
The AI outlined the correct process but gave outdated timing and skipped critical contract details.
Grade: B minus to C plus
Average Score: D plus
C.A.R. made one thing clear. This is not how ChatGPT should be used. It was not trained on their proprietary contracts or forms. Legal advice depends on specificity and context. That is something no general model can guess.
Learning how to use AI starts with understanding where it ends.
AI PRODUCTIVITY

AI Headshots: Fast, Cheap, and 90% Unusable
AI headshots can be useful, but you need to manage your expectations. No matter which tool you use, assume that approximately 10% of the images will actually look like you. The rest will miss the mark in subtle (or not-so-subtle) ways.
That said, AI portraits can save time and money for real estate agents who need headshots for business cards, websites, print marketing, or social media.
Here’s a breakdown of three options that do the work for you, and one DIY method that gives you more control at a lower cost.
🔹 PortraitPal.ai – $35
Uploads: 10–20 selfies
Returns: ~30 AI-generated images
Your result: About 3 usable images.
If you want more, you'll need to pay another $35.
Best for: Agents who want polished headshots without technical steps.
🔹 BetterPic.io – $35
Uploads: 10–20 varied photos
Returns: ~20 AI-generated images
Bonus: You can regenerate and lightly edit headshots inside the app
Best for: Agents who want a quick batch and some ability to tweak or re-run images.
🔹 PhotoGPTAI.com – $19.99
Uploads: 10+ photos
Returns: ~40–60 AI-generated images
Your result: Less consistent looks
Best for: Budget-conscious users willing to sift through the results.
How to Create Realistic AI Headshots with Flux AI (via Fal.ai)
This option is ideal for agents who want flexibility, consistency, and unlimited future use—without having to pay $35 every time you need a few new shots.
Step 1: Collect Your Photos
Quantity: Aim for 12–24 images.
Variety: Include headshots, torso-up, and full-body shots.
Diversity: Use different angles, expressions, outfits, and lighting conditions.
Quality: Ensure high-resolution images without filters, sunglasses, or hats.
Step 2: Upload to Fal.ai
Access: Navigate to the Flux LoRA training page on Fal.ai.
Upload: Add your images individually or as a zipped folder.
Trigger Word: Choose a unique identifier (e.g., your name) to associate with your likeness in prompts.
Step 3: Configure Training Parameters
Model: Select the appropriate Flux model (e.g., Flux Pro for high-quality outputs).
Settings: Adjust parameters like image dimensions and the number of images to generate.
Guidance Scale: A setting around 2.0 is recommended for realism.
Step 4: Train Your Model
Initiate: Start the training process.
Duration: Training typically takes 15–30 minutes.
Cost: Approximately $5–$7, depending on the platform and settings.
Step 5: Generate Your Headshots
Prompting: Use your trigger word in prompts (e.g., "professional headshot of [trigger_word] in a business suit").
Customization: Specify details like attire, background, and lighting to suit your needs.
Output: Generate multiple images and select the ones that best represent you.
Tips for Best Results
Prompt Detail: The more specific your prompt, the better the outcome.
Experimentation: Try different prompts and settings to see what works best.
Review: Evaluate the generated images and iterate as needed.
