Brokerages Are Turning AI Into an Advantage

I’ve been closely following how forward-thinking brokerages are integrating AI. Real Brokerage and Radius are among those reworking their operations with AI as the foundation. These aren’t surface-level upgrades; they are building entirely new systems.

  • Internal bots now handle thousands of agent questions.

  • File review is automated.

  • Platforms manage transactions from start to close.

These tools reduce operating costs and allow agents to focus more on building relationships and advancing deals.

Brokerages are shifting away from admin-heavy models. Their role is becoming more about enabling speed, clarity, and scale for the agent.

Client Expectations Are Changing
AI is transforming how clients experience the process. Some tools now provide personalized property insights, neighborhood data, and market trends within seconds. They operate in multiple languages and are accessible at any time.

Clients don’t wait for a response. They get what they need immediately. This increases confidence and keeps momentum going. Agents can step in with strategy and guidance rather than chasing details.

Providing Tools Is a Leadership Responsibility
Agents aren’t expected to build full-scale systems. Their focus is on service and sales. While agents can implement AI on a personal level, automating tasks, improving follow-up, and organizing data, the real transformation happens when brokerages invest in the infrastructure.

When leadership takes on that responsibility, it creates leverage. It removes friction, supports faster workflows, and raises the quality of the client experience across the board.

The Role of the Agent Is Evolving
AI is creating space for fewer agents to do more business. The ones who understand how to integrate these tools will rise faster.

This shift is underway now. Brokerages that act on it are shaping a future where their agents are sharper, more productive, and better supported.

AI Is Now a First Stop for NextGen Homebuyers

The 2025 NextGen Homebuyer Report confirms what many agents are sensing—buyers under 45 are turning to AI before they reach out.

43% of Gen Z already use tools like ChatGPT to guide their research. These platforms are now shaping buyer decisions, simplifying complex information, and building confidence before a professional enters the picture.

This doesn’t replace the agent’s role. But it shifts when and how agents show up with value. Trust and clarity matter more than ever.

Top 5 Insights from the 2025 Report:

  • Trust in Lenders is Declining. Trust in loan officers fell to just 19.5%, and trust in banks dropped from 61.5% to 40% from last year.

  • Affordability Concerns Drive New Buying Strategies. 42% plan to buy fixer-uppers, and 21% are considering co-buying.

  • Social Media & AI Are Changing the Buyer Journey. 40% of Gen Z use social media for homebuying info, and 43% use AI tools like ChatGPT.

  • Financial Advisors Are Gaining Influence. Gen Z (36%) is more likely to seek advice from financial advisors than real estate agents.

  • YouTube is the #1 Educational Tool for Homebuyers. 66% use YouTube for homebuying education.

 AI UPDATES

Yelp will be launching an AI voice agent

The AI Agent picks up inbound calls, answers routine questions, adds restaurant diners to waitlists, screens spam, and emails staff a transcript plus summary when the line closes. The company says the agent pulls everything it needs from a business’s existing Yelp profile, so there is almost no setup. The public rollout is still ahead.

Real-estate angle: If you already have a Yelp page, this agent could eventually field listing inquiries 24/7 and drop the call transcript straight into your CRM while you are out showing homes or sleeping at home.

Back in the Old Days, Two Years Ago

In 2023, a surreal AI clip of Will Smith eating spaghetti went viral. It was chaotic and hard to look away from.

By 2025, the same concept looks almost real. The difference in quality shows how quickly AI video is evolving.

AI-generated video is becoming a serious creative tool, and content like this shows how far the tech has come in just two years.

How to Show Up in AI Searches

Buyers are already asking ChatGPT for agents by name, location, home type, and price. AI pulls from the public web to answer. If your info is structured and consistent, you can show up.

These steps are based on insights from a recent webinar by Flydragon AI, a company tracking how real estate agents are being surfaced in AI-powered search.

Step 1: Align Your Profiles
Update your Zillow profile. Copy that same info—bio, service areas, specialties—onto your About page and every platform:
âś… FastExpert
âś… RateMyAgent
âś… Yelp
âś… Google Business Profile
âś… Reddit + Quora

Step 2: Match the Way People Ask
AI queries are full questions, not keywords.
Example: “Who’s the best agent in Miami for a 2-bed condo between $750K and $1M?”

Your site must reflect that structure, property type, location, price range, and expertise.

Step 3: Structure Your Site
Make sure your site has clear, searchable sections:
• Areas served
• Price ranges
• Sales stats
• Home types
• Reviews

Avoid vague marketing copy. Use direct, useful language.

Step 4: Show Up in Conversations
AI scans Reddit and Quora for reliable content. Answer real questions there. Link back when helpful. That’s how you build digital trust.

Step 5: Go Beyond SEO
SEO still matters, but AI search works differently. It looks for reliable answers, not just optimized pages. To show up, your name and content need to be clear, consistent, and spread across trusted sources. Visibility now depends on credibility.
